Sales Contract/Health Guarantee
The following agreement is between _______________ (breeder), hereafter referred to as "Seller" and ______________ , hereafter referred to as "Purchaser".
In consideration of a purchase price of ___________ dollars ($_____), of which________ dollars is a nonrefundable deposit, the seller transfers all rights, privileges, and responsibilities associated with the ownership of the Great Dane purchased on ______________.
The seller guarantees the health of the puppy for one year after the purchase. If within the year, a genetic defect is found within the puppy, purchaser has the right to return the puppy and the seller will replace the puppy with one of the same type and sex, and of equal sale value. Replacement will be a puppy of the breeder’s choice of any available litter, or expected litters within one year. No Cash refunds will be made for the purchase. However, the purchaser agrees to properly house their newly purchased puppy, and to provide quality nutrition, and scheduled vaccinations/worming, and veterinary care, as needed. Any evidence that the puppy has been neglected or abused will void this contract. If the purchaser feels he/she can no longer care for this puppy/dog, the breeder should be notified so as to assist in finding the puppy/dog a new suitable home. The puppy must be examined by two veterinarians, one chosen by the Seller and one by the Purchaser. Both must agree on the condition of the puppy. Each party must also pay for their own separate vet bill.

Terms of Agreement
Any deposits for the puppy are NON-REFUNDABLE for any reason except in the case that the puppy dies while in the care of the seller. The deposit will then be reimbursed to the buyer or applied to the purchase of another puppy.

The remaining balance of purchase price will be due five (5) days past the agreed upon pick-up date or when the puppy is eight (8) weeks of age. If the balance is not made at this time, the deposit is forfeit to the buyer and the puppy will become available for sale again.
